She told her teacher she just couldn't pick between Ms. Tubman and Ms. Parks because both of them were (in her own words) two of the most speacilaist black woman in the history of woman.
This year in 4th grade the kids were asked to write a report about a American woman who had made a difference in how our country is what it is.....she told her teacher she didn't want to cheat because she had already written about these two ladies but could she write about Ms. Tubman? She promised to get more info and do a really go report....who could say no to that. Her conclusion drawn was that American woman can be proud to have her as a hero because she did what was right for herself, for her neighbors and didn't let anyone stand in her way to get these folks to freedom.
GK makes me very proud, she is at the least passionate.OmaLindasOldeBaggsandStuftShirtshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09589622524456973822noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3396785437411478888.post-85227252491892313572010-07-25T18:30:15.978-04:002010-07-25T18:30:15.978-04:00what a brave women and yes a herowhat a brave women and yes a heroCorvusCorax12https://www.blogger.com/profile/02705986279180729268noreply@blogger.com
